The Mount Hagen coffee tin is not just pretty to look at - it is the perfect

Mount Hagen coffee.

Our name - Mount Hagen (with an "a", not "Mount Hägen") - is not a fantasy plant
is not a fantasy plant. This is a real mountain, or rather the area where our very first coffee farm was located. The Mount Hagen story with organic coffee began in the middle of Papua New Guinea, in the Western Highland district, at the end of the 1980s. And because the heraldic animal of Papua New Guinea is a bird of paradise, we included it in the logo. But perhaps also because we are a bit crazy when it comes to coffee: Mount Hagen coffee is always (!) grown organically or biodynamically
grown. Always harvested and sorted by hand. And always gently and slowly roasted in drum roasters in Hamburg. This is the only way its specific flavour profile can fully develop. And this is typical of all Mount Hagen organic coffees: they have character, are idiosyncratic, original, original - and by no means mainstream.
