Flavour profile.

The Mount Hagen Barista Crema is a multi-layered,
sophisticated blend of delicious organic highland arabicas from Papua New Guinea, Peru, Ethiopia and Honduras. Its hand-picked green coffees are slowly and gently refined in drum roasters in Hamburg. This is how they develop their characteristic flavour profile - very typical of Mount Hagen: complex, intense and yet very elegant with its delicate citrus note. A sophisticated crema that unfolds its flavours particularly well in the portafilter thanks to its roasting process.

Product details.

Like all Mount Hagen coffees, the beans for the Barista Crema are
fair trade and come 100% from controlled, Naturland-certified organic cultivation. They are grown in small coffee gardens under shade trees, harvested and sorted by hand. And sun-dried for 5-10 days until they have reached their optimum residual moisture content of approx. 12.%. The next processing step then takes place in Hamburg: roasting. The Mount Hagen Barista Crema organic coffee is roasted for an exceptionally long time - approx. 16-18 minutes - and gently at around 200° C in drum roasters, then sealed in aluminium-free aroma protection bags to preserve its complex, multi-faceted aromas.

Tip: The best way to store Barista Crema organic coffee is in the
Mount Hagen coffee tin - airtight, dry and cool. But please do not put it in the fridge, as coffee very quickly takes on the odours of its surroundings.
